Clean Slate Demo CD

Chestnut Bay Studio Cuts First CD!

April 30, 2000 -- Clean Slate, a music ministry of the Panton CSCDCover.jpg (7842 bytes)Community Baptist Church in Panton, Vermont (USA), announces the availability of their new demonstration disk, "Demo".  This first glimpse of the band in the studio features four tracks, including the original songs Clean Slate and I Need Something.  "The band needed a demonstration CD, and I wanted to see if we could do the project entirely on a home PC," said the band's recording engineer, demo producer, drummer, and all-around crazy nutcase, Bob Robinson.  The project was completed on schedule today at Bob's Chestnut Bay Studio.

"We started the project just trying to learn the ins and outs of studio work, but ended up with enough material to cut a demo," Bob continues.  When asked if he'd continue to extend the project to a full CD, all you hear is the quiet whir of the PC's cooling fan in the background.  We'll take that as an enthusiastic "maybe!"

Plans include posting brief passages from the CD on the web site, as well as continued distribution as part of the band's promotional package to potential bookings.  The first demo customers were the First Night committees in Burlington and Rutland, VT.
